GDP accumulated a growth of 5.2% in the first nine months of the year. According to what Argentine News Agency learned, the 2025 growth projection - which was initially calculated above 5% - has been cut to 4% in recent weeks. In line with this, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) confirmed its favorable outlook for Argentina with economic growth of 4% in 2026 and 2027. Buenos Aires, January 20 (NA) -- The National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INDEC) will tomorrow release the Monthly Estimator of Economic Activity (EMAE) for November, which will mark the start of the closing of the fourth quarter of 2025. The latest economic activity data showed an increase of 3.2% in October, where twelve of the sixteen sectors that make up the EMAE recorded increases. This indicator anticipates the evolution of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), which is published quarterly. In the first quarter (January-March) GDP grew 5.8%, followed by 6.3% in the second (April-June) and 3.3% in the third (July-September). At the regional level, the country far exceeds the measure of Latin America and the Caribbean (which projects an advance of 2.2% in 2026 and 2.7% in 2027).
